Frequently Asked Questions
Who is this program for?
Individuals 8 years and older who are seeking to process traumatic experiences, learn new skills, and heal.
I'm nervous about starting. What can I expect?
Before services start you will complete intake paperwork and a virtual intake appointment. The purpose of this is to get a basic understanding of what brings you to therapy. Once that is complete, a trained therapist will reach out to you to discuss starting services. You can ask them questions to see if they would be a good fit. If they are, you will schedule your first session with them. Over the course of treatment, your therapist will work to build rapport with you, establish safety and comfort, guide you in processing trauma, provide practical skills to manage emotions, and support you on your healing journey.
Is the program in-person or virtual?
In-person, virtual, and hybrid options are available.
Who provides the services?
Licensed, trauma-informed clinicians trained in DBT-informed and evidence-based interventions.
How do referrals or partnerships work?
Referrals and partnerships are coordinated directly with Pillars of Wellness, with consent-based communication as applicable.
