Korynn Amm, MA, NCC, LMHC-A, 500CYT is a trauma-informed therapist and Mindfulness Specialist who believes healing begins with feeling seen, heard, and accepted exactly as you are. She strives to create a warm, supportive environment where clients can show up authentically, explore their experiences without judgment, and reconnect with the parts of themselves that may have become disconnected through trauma, chronic stress, or life's challenges.

Korynn works with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, attachment wounds, emotion regulation difficulties, relationship concerns, and other challenges that can make it difficult to feel connected to themselves or others. She takes a collaborative, strengths-based approach to therapy, recognizing that every person's story is unique and that healing looks different for everyone.

Her clinical approach integrates evidence-based therapies including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed somatic practices. She is passionate about helping clients understand how past experiences shape the nervous system and believes healing happens through both insight and embodied experience. As a 500-hour Certified Yoga Teacher (500CYT), Korynn values the powerful connection between the mind, body, and nervous system. When appropriate, she incorporates mindfulness, breathwork, body awareness, and nervous system regulation strategies to help clients build resilience, strengthen self-compassion, and develop a greater sense of safety within themselves.

Korynn believes therapy is not about fixing what is broken, but about creating space to rediscover the strength, wisdom, and resilience that already exist within. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they process difficult experiences, deepen self-understanding, and reconnect with their authentic selves. Her hope is that each person leaves therapy feeling more empowered, more connected, and more at home within themselves.
