Lynnette is a third-year Clinical Psychology doctoral student at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at National Louis University. Prior to her admission to the doctoral program, Lynnette completed a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, which led to her becoming a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois.

Lynnette's current focus is researching, addressing, and reducing the barriers and stigma surrounding mental health care. Her hope is to continue working alongside patients to positively change their overall quality of life. Lynnette has experience working with individuals of all ages and in various areas of mental health, including substance abuse. In treatment, Lynnette uses a client-centered, strengths-based perspective to collaborate with clients toward achieving their treatment goals, with a firm belief that each client is the best expert of their own life.
