Adler University

Degree:

Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology

Ashley Wolke is a graduate of Adler University's Master's Program, where she earned her degree in Counseling Psychology. Her coursework and experience have prepared her to work with all populations. Ashley has been working as a therapist since 2010. In 2013, she passed her NCMHCE Exam and has been working as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Indiana.

Ashley has had the privilege of working with clients aged 6 and up, though she particularly enjoys working with teens and adults. Her practice is grounded in the belief that traumatic events are gateways to mental health issues. Whether a person is struggling with symptoms of depression, anxiety, or substance use, Ashley works to address the experiences that have led them to seek treatment.

Using ACT, TF-CBT, DBT, MI, and Emotional Intelligence education as her guide, Ashley strives to help her clients understand how their personal stories affect their emotional responses, decisions, and worldview. In treatment, she focuses on building a collaborative relationship with her clients, aiming to help them create and develop a stronger sense of self, with the ultimate goal of regaining control over their lives.
