She counsels adults and adolescents with a collaborative, integrative, and strengths-based approach, using a variety of evidence-based counseling techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Alisha has experience working with adults and adolescents in middle school, high school, church, and outpatient settings. Her goal is to support and encourage clients by creating a safe and welcoming environment where they feel comfortable exploring their personal challenges, value systems, relationships, and experiences, while gaining the skills to live a healthier, happier, more fulfilling life.
