M.S. Marriage and Family Therapy
Kay Hennelly is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate (LMFT-A) with a passion for helping people reach their fullest potential. She has a decade of experience working with couples, groups, individuals, adolescents, and children from various backgrounds to help them achieve their therapeutic goals. Her current focus integrates the Gottman Sound Relationship House, Solution-Focused Brief Family Therapy (SFBT), and Narrative Therapy when assisting couples, families, and individuals. These approaches center on identifying strengths and building upon them to create meaningful, lasting positive change.
Kay is experienced in working with marital and family conflicts, LGBTQIA+ populations, and adolescents, and was a previous facilitator for Northwest Indiana's Self-Injury Support Group (SISG). She is passionate about making therapy a beneficial resource to people from all walks of life and in all situations, and she actively seeks ways to further her training and hold space for those who need it.
Outside of her clinical work, Kay enjoys being involved in community events and going on adventures with her family whenever possible. It is Kay's belief that we often see outcomes based on where we place our energy. Deciding to put effort into doing something different is the first step in choosing a path that can make all the difference.
