Katelyn is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate who is passionate about helping individuals build the tools and confidence needed to navigate life’s challenges. She strives to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves, exploring their experiences, and working toward meaningful change.
Katelyn works with children, teens, and adults facing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. She values a collaborative approach to therapy and believes that healing begins with feeling supported, understood, and empowered throughout the process.
Her therapeutic style is mindfulness-based and client-centered, integrating evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Logotherapy to help clients better understand patterns in thoughts, emotions, and relationships while developing practical coping tools for everyday life.
Before joining Pillars of Wellness, Katelyn gained experience providing counseling across a variety of settings, including work with children and families, intensive outpatient programs, and private practice. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Western Michigan University and her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Purdue Northwest University.
