Dr. Michalski is a graduate of Adler University's Doctorate of Clinical Psychology program. She has completed clinical training in correctional, community-based, and private practice settings. She completed her internship with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, where she received extensive training in completing competency evaluations.

Dr. Michalski offers expertise in psychological assessments for medical, employment, and legal purposes, as well as to help clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves. She has extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, relationship issues, work-related stress, and addictions. Her work in assessments and therapy includes children, adolescents, and adults across a range of settings, including correctional, community-based, and private practices. Her clinical style emphasizes the therapeutic relationship as a catalyst for change, while also incorporating cognitive behavioral techniques. She believes that change can occur by evaluating our thinking, better understanding our emotions, and replacing unhealthy behaviors with healthier ones.

Dr. Michalski provides intake assessments to determine how best she and the team can support each individual. She welcomes the opportunity to explore whether working with Pillars could be a meaningful next step. If it turns out that Pillars isn’t the best fit, she is committed to helping clients find a treatment option that meets their needs. Dr. Michalski aims to help untangle each issue, establish practical strategies for a more fulfilling life, and reduce reliance on destructive behaviors.

“As simple as it may seem, I find that being genuine with my clients is critical for effective therapy. My hope is to develop a comfort level where my clients are invited to own and find their own truth.”
