Storm is a Licensed Social Worker who is passionate about creating a warm, supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. She graduated with her Bachelor of Social Work from Valparaiso University and went on to complete her Master of Social Work at the University of Connecticut.
Before joining Pillars, Storm gained experience working with children, teens, and adults across a variety of settings, supporting individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, and trauma. Her background includes work in healthcare, child welfare, and community-based services, where she developed a strong commitment to compassionate, client-centered care.
Storm takes a collaborative and strengths-based approach to therapy, integrating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy to help clients explore patterns in thoughts, emotions, and relationships while developing practical tools for coping and growth. She believes meaningful change happens within a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship and feels honored to walk alongside clients in their healing journey.
