Shelby is a graduate of Purdue University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies. She went on to earn her Master of Social Work from Indiana University.
Shelby has diverse experience working with clients across the lifespan, from early childhood to adolescence to older adults. She has supported individuals with a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, divorce, postpartum and maternal mental health, life transitions, and school-related issues.
As a compassionate and dedicated therapist, Shelby is committed to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. Utilizing a strengths-based approach combined with elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), her goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where clients can express their feelings and concerns. She encourages clients to stay committed to their goals and works collaboratively with them to achieve lasting change and find peace in their lives.
