Kathryn graduated with a bachelor’s in psychology and anthropology from Indiana University Northwest and a master’s in clinical mental health counseling from Valparaiso University. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across a wide range of diagnoses, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, adjustment disorders, PTSD, and substance use disorders.
Kathryn assists clients along their healing journey by creating a safe environment to help them navigate complex emotions at their own pace. She facilitates client growth through client-led self-exploration, mindfulness techniques, coping skill acquisition, and the use of resources that are relevant to each client’s individual needs. She specializes in incorporating CBT and DBT skills into treatment to help clients reach their goals and self-regulate their emotions.
