Jennifer is an LGBTQ+ Services Specialist with a deep passion for supporting LGBTQ+ individuals and their loved ones as they navigate healing, growth, and self-understanding. Whether the stressors you are experiencing relate directly to gender identity or sexuality, or simply to the complexity of being human in today’s world, Jennifer believes meaningful healing is possible. By exploring our upbringing, the development of our beliefs and thought patterns, and how those experiences intersect with the present moment, we can begin to make sense of our stories and reclaim a sense of wholeness. She holds a strong belief that radical healing and self-love can foster empowerment, allowing us to feel grounded and capable exactly where we are.

Jennifer’s therapeutic style is eclectic and collaborative, rooted in the understanding that there is no “one size fits all” approach to therapy. She draws from Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma-informed practices, mindfulness, and other modalities to create a personalized approach for each client. Therapy with Jennifer is an intentional process of curating tools that help you better understand your emotions, experiences, and internal world. You are the expert on your life; her role is to support, guide, and tailor the work to meet your unique needs.

Jennifer’s ideal client is someone who is curious about themselves and motivated to explore their inner world in order to feel more well and whole within a stressful and often overwhelming environment. She invites clients to examine their culture of origin and the many facets of their upbringing, recognizing how these influences shape current experiences and coping patterns.

With five years of experience working exclusively with LGBTQ+ individuals and their allies, Jennifer is comfortable engaging in conversations around diverse sexualities, gender diversity, and non-traditional relationship structures with radical acceptance and without judgment. Her work is informed by a deep respect for identity exploration and life transitions, and she is especially passionate about supporting individuals striving toward self-acceptance and sustainable, empowering wellness.

Jennifer believes personal empowerment emerges when we share our stories and give voice to our fears, feelings, thoughts, and lived experiences. Creating a space where that kind of vulnerability can exist is something she considers sacred. She is honored by the courage it takes for clients to show up authentically, and is committed to holding a safe, affirming space for each person she works with. In your work together, she will encourage, gently challenge, invite curiosity, and honor your experience as you move toward healing and growth.
