Imen is a licensed social worker dedicated to creating a safe and compassionate space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. She believes that healing begins with understanding the unique stories people carry, and she works to help clients rediscover resilience, self-worth, and balance in their lives.

Imen earned her Master of Social Work from Indiana University and also holds a Master of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Development from Capella University. She has over a decade of experience in case management and counseling, including work in medical social work, school counseling, and individual and couples therapy. She is also BIPOC-certified, with specialized training in supporting minorities and individuals from diverse cultural and faith-based backgrounds. Before joining Pillars, she supported clients through challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, life transitions, and family dynamics.

Her approach is client-centered and culturally responsive, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care. She integrates evidence-based techniques with empathy and cultural sensitivity, helping clients not only cope with difficulties but also move toward meaningful growth and lasting change.
