BS in Psychological Sciences
Destiny is a second-year Marriage and Family Therapist Intern currently completing her master’s degree in Couple and Family Therapy at PNW. She earned her bachelor’s in psychological sciences from Purdue University in West Lafayette. Destiny brings a strong relational and systemic approach to her work with individuals, couples, and families, informed by her academic training and clinical experience.
Destiny approaches therapy utilizing a narrative lens, believing that people are not the problem—the problem is the problem. She is especially passionate about working with clients who hold marginalized identities or feel disconnected from themselves, their relationships, or their values. Her work focuses on exploring the stories, beliefs, and patterns that may no longer serve clients, while also attending to the cultural, relational, and systemic contexts shaping their experiences.
In therapy, Destiny collaborates closely with clients to aid them in reauthoring stories that feel more empowering, authentic, and aligned with who they want to be—both individually and in their relationships. She strives to create a safe, affirming, and empathetic space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported as they build confidence, clarity, and deeper connection with themselves and one another.
