James is a lifelong Indiana resident with a Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Social Work from Purdue University and a Master of Social Work from the Indiana University School of Social Work at IUPUI. His service in the United States Army as a Military Police soldier deeply shaped his values and commitment to supporting others with dedication, compassion, and respect for the challenges people face.
James has a strong passion for addictions therapy and is committed to supporting individuals struggling with addiction as well as their families and loved ones. He brings a compassionate and dedicated approach to his work, providing individual therapy grounded in the belief that every person deserves a space where they can be heard, understood, and supported in their healing journey.
James works with a wide range of clients, from middle school–aged adolescents to adults of all ages. He embraces lifelong learning and connection with people from diverse backgrounds, carrying forward his father’s wisdom: “Every day is an opportunity to learn something new—never waste it.” His approach emphasizes meeting clients where they are, helping them build resilience, and creating meaningful change in their lives.
