Pillars of Wellness is seeking a passionate and visionary clinician to serve as the Maternal Mental Health Program Lead. This role is ideal for an experienced provider who is deeply committed to supporting individuals and families through the perinatal period while leading and growing a specialized maternal mental health program.
As Program Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and expanding the Maternal Mental Health Program. In addition to leadership responsibilities, the Program Lead will maintain a reduced caseload, providing high-quality, evidence-based therapy to individuals experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and other reproductive mental health concerns.
This position qualifies as a Center of Excellence (CoE) leadership role, allowing you to balance clinical work with program innovation, team development, and service expansion. The CoE model is designed to empower clinicians to grow their leadership capacity while shaping meaningful, specialized care within the organization.
- Lead the Maternal Mental Health Program, supporting both the clinical excellence and professional growth of the team.
- Provide individual and/or group therapy to clients experiencing perinatal and reproductive mental health concerns.
- Facilitate Maternal Mental Health group consultations and provide clinical guidance to Specialists.
- Collaborate with agency leadership to define program goals, outcomes, and community impact.
- Support the development and implementation of program initiatives, services, and best practices.
- Recruit, mentor, and support Maternal Mental Health Specialists within the CoE framework.
- Oversee and delegate program-related tasks, including coordination, outreach, and training efforts.
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, including OB/GYN providers, doulas, hospitals, and maternal health organizations.
- Stay current on emerging research and best practices in maternal and perinatal mental health.
- Assist with marketing, outreach, and educational efforts to promote the Maternal Mental Health Program.
- Ensure ethical, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care across all services.
- Associate or fully licensed mental health professional (e.g., LCSW, LMHC, LMHC-A, LMFT, LMFT-A, LPC, or equivalent).
- Specialized training, certification, or strong clinical experience in maternal mental health, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, or reproductive mental health.
- Prior leadership, supervisory, or program development experience strongly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead, mentor, and inspire others.
- Passion for supporting individuals and families through pregnancy, postpartum, and reproductive transitions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
