About Us Pillars of Wellness is a dynamic and innovative mental health organization dedicated to providing high-quality, client-centered care while fostering professional growth for our clinicians. We are committed to creating a supportive learning environment that prioritizes clinical excellence, professional development, and sustainable systems that allow both staff and clients to thrive.
We are currently entering a phase of strategic expansion. As a nationally approved NBCC Continuing Education (CE) Provider, Pillars of Wellness is moving beyond internal training to establish ourselves as a premier provider of external Continuing Education. We are seeking a visionary leader to drive this commercial growth.
Position Summary
The CE Program Development & Strategy Specialist can be either a part time, non-clinical role or a unique "hybrid" role for a clinician with a strong business acumen.
Part Time (non-clinical): This position would be a great fit for an individual who has marketing, business development, or strategic planning background.
Full Time (hybrid: clinical caseload + business development): While maintaining a clinical caseload, this individual will lead the commercialization of our Growth and Development Team, specifically regarding Continuing Education expansion and business development.
In either role, you will not just be "managing training"; you will be building a business unit. Your goal is to package our clinical expertise into marketable products, forge partnerships with external agencies, and generate revenue streams that support the organization’s mission.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Identify high-demand clinical topics and market gaps to direct the creation of profitable CE workshops and courses.
- B2B Sales & Partnerships: Proactively reach out to other group practices, hospitals, and universities to sell bulk training packages or secure sponsorship for events.
- Monetization: Develop pricing models and revenue targets for external CE sales (webinars, asynchronous courses, and live events).
- Marketing Collaboration: Partner with marketing teams to optimize landing pages, email funnels, and social media campaigns to drive registrations.
Product Strategy & Scalability
- Catalog Expansion: Transform internal clinical successes into external products. (e.g., "Turning our internal trauma protocol into a statewide workshop.")
- Speaker Scouting: Recruit and coach high-profile external speakers or internal Subject Matter Experts to create "headliner" events that draw large audiences.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor pricing, topics, and delivery methods to ensure Pillars of Wellness remains competitive and innovative.
- Research Products and Organizations: Explore which platforms gain traction with CE sales, marketing, etc. Consider joining organizations or remaining independent.
Leadership & Analytics
- Performance Tracking: Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), revenue per seat, and course completion rates.
- System Optimization: Oversee the user journey on our Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure the purchasing and certification process is seamless for external customers.
- Business Interest/Experience: Demonstrated experience/interest in business development, sales, marketing, or program management.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: A drive to build, sell, and scale. You see challenges as market opportunities.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with e-commerce for digital products, LMS platforms (e.g., LearnDash, Teachable, Kajabi), and CRM strategies.
- Networking Skills: A strong existing professional network and the confidence to cold-outreach to potential partners.
- Clinical Licensure (only applicable for full time clinical, hybrid role): Master’s degree and Associate or Independent License (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LPC, Psychologists, etc.) optional.
