Master of Social Work
Samantha is a master’s-level social worker and graduate of the University of Kentucky. She has extensive experience working at an inpatient psychiatric hospital with clients facing acute mental health crises. Through this work, she developed a strong foundation in trauma-informed care.
Samantha became a social worker because she believes it is a privilege to walk alongside individuals during their mental health journey. Her therapeutic style integrates evidence-based treatment modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to assist clients in identifying and working with their emotions. Samantha believes there is deep healing power in the ability to own one’s story and allow space for both the light and dark parts of our human experience.
Samantha is passionate about teaching coping skills to children that they can utilize throughout their lives. She aims to create a safe space where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered to explore their inner experiences. Her approach is relational, strengths-based, and rooted in empathy. Samantha works collaboratively with clients to help them better understand their emotions, develop effective coping skills, and move toward lasting growth and healing.
