Amaya Wagner is a dedicated and compassionate therapist who earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Valparaiso University, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and English Writing. She loves working with teens, adults, and couples, and is passionate about creating a space where every client feels seen, heard, and valued.

Amaya specializes in Emotion-Focused Therapy and thoughtfully integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), always tailoring her approach to honor each person’s unique identity and lived experience. Her work is rooted in a person-centered philosophy, and she believes therapy should feel like a safe, supportive, and empowering journey.

With experience in both private practice and juvenile detention settings, Amaya has worked with individuals facing a wide range of challenges.
