Katelyn is a master’s level social worker who graduated from the University of Kentucky with a certificate in clinical social work. She brings meaningful experience from her work with adults in community mental health and residential settings, as well as internship experience working in school systems with adolescents. When working with clients, Katelyn believes that growth is best fostered by environments that make people feel seen, heard, and safe. She encourages clients to be their full selves—quirks, anxieties, humor, and all. She knows that starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and her goal is to meet each client where they are with warmth and curiosity.

Katelyn’s clinical approach is collaborative, client-centered, and grounded in the belief that people are the experts of their own lives. She utilizes components of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and solution-focused strategies to help clients strengthen themselves and make meaningful shifts. She also prioritizes the use of trauma-informed care in order to help clients navigate anxiety, grief, and life transitions. Katelyn brings a calm and compassionate presence to support people in their journeys of turning insight into action.
