Jennifer Buford graduated from Indiana University in 2012 with her Master’s in Educational Sciences through the Marriage and Family Therapy cohort. After graduating, she worked in wraparound services for the Department of Child Services, serving as a home-based therapist for two years. Simultaneously, she began teaching various psychology and clinical courses at Indiana Institute of Technology, where she continues to teach.
Jennifer takes a biological perspective on behavioral issues and patterns, while also examining how emotions affect our physiology. She is particularly interested in the social and cultural impacts on mental health. Psychoeducation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy are her preferred modalities.
